The Art Gallery of NSW

During this visit we learned about the ways to view and study paintings focusing on reading the museum labels, recognizing technique and mediums, getting different impressions by standing closer to or further from the painting, exploring the ways of creating visual impressions of different times of the day.
Children received a sketch book and studied different ways of brush work via copying a painting.
